Sacramento Kings shooting guard Kevin Huerter has been cleared for on-court workouts as he continues his recovery from a March injury.
Mark Haynes reported that Huerter is now authorized to participate in shooting drills and a comprehensive strength training program. The player will be re-evaluated in mid-October before resuming full-contact activities.
Huerter sustained a dislocated left shoulder and labral tear during a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on March 21. He later underwent surgery, which ended his season prematurely.
The 26-year-old averaged 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 24.4 minutes per game last season.
His return to full activity will be pivotal for the Kings as they approach the 2024-25 season.
