Golden State Warriors sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis has praised Draymond Green, highlighting his exceptional basketball IQ.

Jackson-Davis expressed confidence in the Warriors’ prospects for the 2024-25 season, despite the departure of Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks.

“We just need to continue to do what we did at the end of the season,” Jackson-Davis stated, referencing the Warriors’ strong finish with a 27-12 record over the final 39 games, via Daily Journal.

The young forward emphasized the importance of staying healthy and building on recent momentum to achieve success.

Jackson-Davis believes the Warriors have the necessary components to contend, with key players like Steph Curry and Green leading the way.

He noted Curry’s status as a top-five player and the greatest shooter in NBA history.

Jackson-Davis specifically highlighted Green’s defensive prowess and unparalleled basketball IQ, saying, “We still have one of the greatest defensive players to play the game, and his IQ is second to none.”
