The Denver Nuggets are reportedly interested in Vasilije Micic of the Charlotte Hornets, a close friend of Nuggets star Nikola Jokic. Both play together on the Serbian national team.

Micic is owed $7.7 million this season, making a trade challenging for Denver as they’re already over the first apron. This restricts the Nuggets from sending back at least equal salary. Micic’s contract also has an $8.1 million team option for 2025-26.

The veteran point guard averaged 10.8 points and 6.2 assists in 30 games for Charlotte after being traded from Oklahoma City.
