Eurohoops released its annual ranking of the top EuroLeague contracts, showing how much spending has grown despite the league’s new Financial Fair Play rules.

For the first time, nearly $3 million net is needed to crack the Top 10, while even $2 million salaries are now common. Estimates place the median EuroLeague net salary at or above $1 million.

Because taxation varies widely, salaries are reported in net U.S. dollars. This explains why Spain, with high taxes, has just one player on the list, while Panathinaikos features three, and both Olympiacos and Hapoel Tel Aviv have two.

Leading the rankings is Vasilije Micic of Hapoel Tel Aviv, earning $5.6 million annually from a three-year deal.

Kendrick Nunn follows with $5.3 million at Panathinaikos, while Sasha Vezenkov ($4.1M, Olympiacos) and Shane Larkin ($3.75M, Anadolu Efes) remain among Europe’s highest-paid stars.

Dzanan Musa nearly doubled his income by joining Dubai BC, thanks to tax-free $3.5 million earnings.

Other top earners include Evan Fournier ($3.2M, Olympiacos), Mathias Lessort ($3.2M, Panathinaikos), Kostas Sloukas ($3.1M, Panathinaikos), and Monaco’s Mike James ($3M).

Rounding out the list are Walter Tavares of Real Madrid and Elijah Bryant of Hapoel Tel Aviv, both at $2.7 million.
