Furkan Korkmaz is set to return to the EuroLeague with AS Monaco for the 2024-25 season with an option for another year.

The 27-year-old guard joins Monaco after spending seven seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Korkmaz, who was drafted 26th overall in 2016, averaged 6.8 points, 2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists during his time with the 76ers.

His impressive three-point shooting and court vision are expected to bolster Monaco’s roster.

In his farewell statement, Korkmaz praised his time in Philadelphia and expressed excitement about his new role with Monaco.

He acknowledged the competitive nature of EuroLeague and his anticipation to contribute to Monaco’s success.

The Turkish international emphasized his aim to help Monaco achieve significant milestones, including a potential EuroLeague championship.

“I saw the potential of the Roca Team in last year’s playoffs, when the semifinals were just around the corner. I believe that with my contributions, we can make a significant impact and aim for the EuroLeague championship,” Korkmaz said.
