The New York Knicks have signed Kevin McCullar Jr. to a two-way contract. NBA insider Michael Scotto tweeted the news, citing league sources.

McCullar earned All-Big 12 First Team honors this past season at Kansas. He was also named to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team and earned All-Big 12 Third Team honors in 2023.

On June 27, 2024, McCullar was selected with the 56th overall pick in the NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns. He was immediately traded to the Knicks on draft night.

The 23-year-old averaged 18.3 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 34.2 minutes per game for Kansas this past season.
