The Charlotte Hornets have signed Moussa Diabate to a two-way deal.

The 22-year-old forward/center was the 43rd pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Michigan.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Diabate agreed to join the Hornets after spending the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers.

This past season, Diabate appeared in 11 games for the Clippers, averaging 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds in 5.8 minutes per game.

Diabate also played 14 games for the Ontario Clippers in the G League, averaging 15.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 29.2 minutes per game.

Diabate’s two-way contract with the Clippers was initially signed on July 22, 2022.

He re-signed another two-way contract with the Clippers on July 14, 2023.
