Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee spoke highly about the competitiveness of Moussa Diabate after Monday’s 97-89 road loss vs. the Brooklyn Nets (21 points/10 rebounds/2 blocks/9-11 FG/3-6 FT).

“I brag on him. I brag on the whole team. I think he’s a product of the environment that we’re creating. It’s a lot of the coaching staff. It’s a lot of his teammates talking to him. But he has definitely come in and just continued to add a spark, a boost, a spirit, a competitiveness. A competitive spirit which has been great, and I’m glad to see that he’s getting rewarded for it too. So the whole team I think feeds off of that, and I think that they’re also helping build him up and put him in the positions he needs to be in to be successful.”
