Baron Davis shared his thoughts on Klay Thompson leaving the Golden State Warriors, expressing disappointment over the end of an era.

Thompson signed a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks, concluding his 13-year tenure with the Warriors.

The departure signifies the end of the Golden State dynasty that brought four championships to the franchise.

Davis, a former NBA and Warriors star, lamented the end of this successful chapter in Warriors history.

“I hate to see it… The dynasty is over… This is not the storybook ending,” Davis stated on The Draymond Green Show.

Thompson’s exit marks a significant shift for the Warriors, who have relied on his sharpshooting and defensive prowess.

Thompson’s new role with the Mavericks opens a fresh chapter in his career, bringing veteran experience to a team looking to make another deep playoff run.

Despite the disappointment, Davis wished Thompson well in his new journey with Dallas.
