Kemba Walker, the four-time NBA All-Star who recently announced his retirement from basketball, is embarking on a new journey as a coach with the Charlotte Hornets.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Walker will join new head coach Charles Lee’s staff as a player enhancement coach.

Walker, known for his leadership and basketball IQ, brings a wealth of playing experience to his new role.

During his 12-year NBA career, Walker played primarily for the Hornets, where he became a fan favorite.

His return to the Hornets in a coaching capacity is seen as a homecoming for the former star point guard.

Walker’s role will focus on developing players’ skills and helping them adjust to the demands of professional basketball.
