Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic spoke highly of the Boston Celtics’ deep roster after Sunday’s 105-98 NBA Finals Game 2 road loss (five players scored in double figures).

Tomer Azarly: “The Celtics are already a deep team, and you guys have shown a lot of your depth, but when the shotmaking’s not going down, it’s a bit more apparent I guess. How do you guys counteract their depth given that Tatum & Brown could have an off-night, and Jrue can kinda go off?”

Doncic: “That’s why they’re the No. 1 team in the NBA with the No. 1 record, they have a lot of great players. Basically, anybody can get off. Honestly I didn’t think we did a bad job defending today, we took away some threes, we contested some more threes. But I had too many turnovers and missed a lot of free throws, so I think that cost us the game.”
