On Monday, the co-hosts of “The View,” including Whoopi Goldberg, defended a WNBA player’s controversial flagrant foul on star rookie Caitlin Clark, stating that such incidents are common in basketball.

“Let’s be realistic, OK? This is basketball,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg. “These things happen all the time in the sport. Just the other day, Angel Reese got clotheslined.”
