David Fizdale is set to rejoin the Phoenix Suns as a prominent assistant coach under newly appointed head coach Mike Budenholzer.
Following the departure of Frank Vogel, who was relieved of his duties after just one season, the Suns are building new coaching staff under Budenholzer, but Fizdale keeps his position.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news on X, confirming Fizdale’s return to the Suns’ coaching staff in a significant role.
Fizdale’s extensive experience, including two stints as an NBA head coach, brings valuable insight and expertise to Budenholzer’s coaching staff.
