Anthony Edwards called Karl-Anthony Towns “the baddest big on the planet” after the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Game 7 win against the Denver Nuggets.
The Timberwolves ended the Nuggets’ title defense with a 98-90 victory, advancing to the Western Conference finals.
Edwards praised Towns for his dominant performance, stating that the Nuggets had no answer for him.
“Thank KAT, y’all. They ain’t have no answer for Karl. Karl the baddest big on the planet. Y’all know it. It ain’t hard to see,” Edwards said postgame.
The Timberwolves overcame a 20-point second-half deficit, with Edwards finishing the game with 16 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
Towns and Jaden McDaniels each scored 23 points, helping Minnesota reach the conference finals for the first time in 20 years. Towns is averaging 18.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in the playoffs.
