Karl-Anthony Towns has shared some of the products he regularly uses away from basketball, including an inexpensive body wash that has become part of his daily routine.
The Knicks star named Dove Men+Care Moisturizing Body Wash in Bourbon Vanilla and Hazelnut among his personal essentials, explaining that smelling good is important to him.
“I always got to smell good,” the All-Star said, adding that Dove has “amazing body wash scents.”
The product also has a personal connection for Towns. Growing up, his mother frequently used incense and candles around their home, and similar scents now “draw [him] back to mindfulness.”
Towns explained that showering also gives him a rare opportunity to relax during his busy schedule.
“The shower, which is usually my only quiet time of the day, is special and kind of therapeutic. The rest of the day may be hectic, but I know that moment’s for me and myself and I,” the Knicks player relatably added.
The NBA star revealed several other items he regularly uses, including a Therabody massage gun.
“I couldn’t live without these Therabody guns. They’ve been everything to me.”
Towns also remains committed to representing the Knicks away from the court, listing a New York snapback among his favorites.
“It’s the No. 1 item in fashion right now, right? I mean, only rightfully so. When I’m not playing, I still rock a lot of Knicks gear.”
His list also includes Beats Solo 4 headphones, which Towns uses while preparing for games.
“While on the court during warm-ups, I’ve been playing a bunch of Freddie Gibbs this year in my headphones – shout-out to my brother.”
