Washington Wizards forward Bilal Coulibaly stated that Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans was the toughest player to defend this season.

Coulibaly recalled a particular game where Ingram scored 40 points against him. Despite Coulibaly’s efforts to play tight defense, he found himself helpless against Ingram’s ability to shoot over him.

“[Brandon Ingram] gave us 40,” Coulibaly said. “I was playing great defense but he was just shooting over my head, I was like what am I supposed to do?”
