Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black is viewing everything that came along with his rookie season as a valuable experience heading into year two.

Reporter: “As you look at year one to year two, so many players in recent Magic history have made a big jump, whether it be Jalen [Suggs], Franz [Wagner], Paolo [Banchero] going from rookie year to tremendous… How much is having gone through everything you went through from starting, to playing minutes, to watching playoff games, help you with areas to focus on going into year two?”

Black: “I think it was super helpful. I got to see some parts of my game that I need to work on while also getting to just play, honestly, on a playoff level team. So I think all of it did a lot of good for me, definitely going back watching the film seeing what we can get better on for sure. All the experience – the playing, the not playing – it all helped. It’s all good for character and it’s all good in the long run.”
