Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers held a meeting with star players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard following Tuesday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.
Haynes reports that the discussion was designed as an “open forum,” allowing the team’s top players to voice their thoughts and exchange ideas on how to help the Bucks overcome their recent struggles.
As Haynes highlights, Milwaukee has dropped five of its last seven games and has faced significant offensive challenges during this stretch, including a season-low 93-point performance in Tuesday’s defeat against Golden State.
Despite the team’s ongoing difficulties, Haynes characterizes the post-game meeting as “productive,” suggesting that the dialogue was constructive and aimed at finding solutions to get the Bucks back on track.
