Anthony Davis left the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans prematurely on Sunday. During the game, Davis was pushed in the back by Larry Nance Jr., causing his back to lock up and necessitating his early departure.

Despite the setback, Davis assured that he would be prepared to play when the Lakers and Pelicans face off again in the 7-8 Game of the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.

“No doubt that I’m going to play,” Davis said about his availability for Tuesday’s postseason game.
