Devin Vassell’s stellar 31-point outing powered the San Antonio Spurs (17-56) to a commanding 118-111 victory over the Utah Jazz (29-44) on Wednesday night.

Supported by Victor Wembanyama, who contributed 19 points and five blocks, the Spurs recorded a season-high 40 assists on 44 made field goals.

Despite a late surge from the Jazz, fueled by Collin Sexton (26 points) and Lauri Markkanen (25 points), the Spurs maintained their composure down the stretch to secure the win.

Vassell’s offensive explosion was complemented by balanced scoring contributions from Jeremy Sochan, Julian Champagnie, and Malaki Branham, all of whom notched 17 points each.

In contrast, the Jazz continue to struggle, facing their seventh consecutive defeat and elimination from postseason.
