Jalen Green poured in 37 points to lead the Houston Rockets (37-35) to a hard-fought 132-126 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder (50-22) on Wednesday night.

Despite missing All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder put up a resilient fight, with Josh Giddey (31 points) and Jalen Williams (23 points, 10 assists) leading the charge.

For the Rockets, Amen Thompson’s 25 points and 15 rebounds, along with Dillon Brooks’ 20 points, provided crucial contributions to secure their 10th straight victory.

The thrilling contest went down to the wire, with both teams trading baskets in the closing minutes of regulation.

The Rockets, however, seized control in overtime, with Brooks sinking crucial 3-pointers to propel them to victory.

Oklahoma City is now tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for third place in the Western Conference standings.

With the win, the Rockets continue chasing play-in spot, currently sitting in 11th place, a game behind the Golden State Warriors.
