The Atlanta Hawks pulled off a remarkable comeback victory against the Boston Celtics, securing a 120-118 win in a thrilling matchup.

Despite a strong start and Jayson Tatum’s 37-point display, the Celtics squandered a 30-point lead, allowing the Hawks to stage an extraordinary turnaround.

Reflecting on the loss, Tatum expressed frustration, acknowledging the team’s failure to maintain their advantage and close out the game effectively.

“It’s tough. You want to win every game you play. People think we never should lose. We were up a lot. We f*cked the game up, and we know that. We’re all adults and professionals, and we know we didn’t do the things necessary to win. That’s sometimes easier to fix when you know if you do the right things and play the right way, the way you’re supposed to,” Tatum candidly remarked in a postgame interview, per Noa Dalzell.

The defeat serves as a wake-up call for the Celtics, who had been enjoying a nine-game winning streak and were considered strong contenders in the Eastern Conference.
