The Atlanta Hawks (32-39) orchestrated an extraordinary comeback to defeat the Boston Celtics (57-15) with a final score of 120-118, despite Jayson Tatum’s 37-point performance.

De’Andre Hunter emerged as the hero for the Hawks, sinking a clutch 3-pointer with just 9.2 seconds left on the clock to seal the improbable win against the league-leading Celtics. The small forward finished the game with 24 points and seven rebounds.

The victory marked one of the most memorable comebacks in franchise history for the Hawks, who trailed by as many as 30 points against a formidable Celtics team riding a nine-game winning streak.

With All-Star guard Trae Young sidelined due to injuries, the Hawks managed to mount a sensational rally to stun their opponents.

Dejounte Murray contributed 19 points and 15 assists to complete a double-double. Vit Krejci added 16 points and six rebounds, while Clint Capela added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Jaylen Brown (24 points) and Tatum led the charge for the Celtics, but their efforts were thwarted by the inspired play of the Hawks.

While the Celtics maintain the first place in the Eastern Conference, the Hawks cling on 10th place an a play-in qualification.
