Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham felt very pleased about he and backcourt mate Jaden Ivey’s spectacular performance during Thursday’s 118-112 home win vs. the Brooklyn Nets (combined for 66 points on 51.3% shooting).

Johnny Kane: “Your backcourt got it going tonight, 66 points combined for you and JI. How special was that performance?”
Cunningham: “It was great, man. That’s what we’ve been wanting to do all year. One guy will have it on, another one not, so we just wanted to put it all together. We’ve been encouraging each other all year, so this is a great game for us, and we’re going to try to build on it.”
