Isaiah Stewart, Detroit Pistons center, has broken his silence regarding his recent suspension following an altercation in Phoenix.

The incident occurred on February 14, when Stewart was arrested for assault after punching Drew Eubanks in a dispute outside the Footprint Center ahead of a game against the Phoenix Suns.

Stewart, who received a three-game suspension for his actions, addressed the situation upon his return to the court against the Bulls.

Expressing remorse, Stewart stated, “I always want to represent the organization in great fashion. I apologized to my teammates and coaches because it’s been a tough season and I don’t want to bring anything upon them. And I’m glad they had my back,” as reported by Omari Sankofa II.

Despite the suspension, Stewart remains an integral part of the struggling Pistons’ lineup, contributing an average of 11 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game this season.
