Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon voiced his surprise and confusion over the team’s lone representation at this year’s All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
Reigning NBA champions, the Nuggets, will see only Nikola Jokic take the court amidst the league’s elite, representing the West All-Stars.
Gordon, puzzled by the Nuggets’ limited presence at the prestigious event, expressed his bewilderment during a recent interview.
“I don’t know why that is. Not entirely sure. That’s a mystery to me. Doesn’t make any sense,” Gordon said, per Harrison Wind. “It’s just peanuts to an elephant.”
