Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl is excited about growing with this newer/younger roster.

Reporter: “Is it kind of a relief now to have the trade deadline passed and you know these are pretty much who you’re going to be working with for the rest of the year, and start working towards that?”
Poeltl: “It’s good in a sense that like you said, now we know what we’ve got and we can try and build on this. Know this team’s going to stay together, exactly this way, at least until the end of the season. Obviously there’s a new wave of young players and we’re trying to build something. So we can look at the rest of the season for us to get a head start there, make a push here. We’re not in a great spot when it comes to the standings, but why not try and grow something here, make a push for a play-in, and get those experiences. And at the same time, really try and build a new team here, new chemistry, new everything.”
