Gran Canaria got off to a fast start and never looked back in their 95-75 victory in Las Palmas over Ludwigsburg.

The Liga Endesa side, paced by Finland international Sasu Salin’s 17 points drained 17 three-pointers, shooting a solid 47.2 percent from distance.

Salin, along with Kyle Kuric hit four triples each, but Gran Canaria were unable to topple the Eurocup record, which is currently held by Unics Kazan as they hit 20 three-pointers in the 2009-10 season.

Gran Canaria now own a 2-0 record so far in the Eurocup, while Ludwigsburg tasted defeat for the first time in their second contest.
