Bruce Brown expressed his joy at returning to New York for the Toronto Raptors’ match against the New York Knicks. He envisioned the possibility of joining the Knicks and playing under the coaching of Tom Thibodeau.

When questioned about the basis for this vision, Brown explained that he believes he fits the mold of a player preferred by Thibodeau.

“I am a dog,” Brown said. “I play extremely hard on both ends of the floor. I can do just about whatever (Thibodeau) needs me to do.”

Brown revealed that he contemplated joining the New York Knicks before finalizing a two-year contract with the Indiana Pacers. The 6-foot-5 wing is aware that he aligns with the type of player favored by Tom Thibodeau.

Speculation has arisen suggesting that the Knicks might be interested in pursuing Brown once more, especially now that he has been traded to the Toronto Raptors.

“I play extremely hard. I would think [I’m] the type of player that he likes,” Brown said. “Every time we play Thibs I go up to him and shake his hand, just because of what he’s done. Nothing but respect for Thibs.”

Brown also expressed his deep affection for New York, a sentiment that grew during his tenure with the Brooklyn Nets.

“I love New York,” Brown said. “I hated New York before I lived here, but as soon as I moved here, I loved it. Anytime you want to do something you can go do it. Great restaurants, great city, I love being back.”
