The Denver Nuggets (29-14) orchestrated a late-game surge, securing a narrow 102-100 victory over the Boston Celtics (32-10) and handing them their first home loss of the season. The dynamic duo of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic stole the spotlight, combining for an impressive 69 points to seal the win.

Murray led the Nuggets with 35 points, while Jokic added 34 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Michael Porter Jr. was the only other Denver player to score in double-digits with 13 points.

The defending NBA champions showcased their resilience, bouncing back from a recent loss and delivering a crucial win against one of the league’s top teams.

Derrick White led the Celtics in scoring with 24 points. Jayson Tatum, who contributed 22 points and eight rebounds, had an opportunity to tie the game in the closing seconds. However, a contested one-legged fadeaway attempt fell short, securing the Nuggets’ victory.

Kristaps Porzingis added 21 points and eight rebounds for the Eastern Conference leaders.
