The Mavs guard Kyrie Irving refutes allegations suggesting he instructed Jazz arena security to remove pro-Jewish signs held by Rabbi Avremi Zippel and three other rabbis during Monday night’s game in Utah.

A spokesperson for Irving stated on Wednesday that the Mavericks star denies making any complaint, emphasizing that there was no negative interaction as claimed by Rabbi Zippel.

The representative clarified that Irving had no direct contact with Zippel, who was seated courtside at the Delta Center, and asserted that neither Irving nor the Dallas sideline requested the removal of the signs.

Additionally, Irving’s camp denies any Mavericks organization member communicating with the Jazz to complain about the signs displaying the message: “I’m a Jew and I’m proud.”
