The Cleveland Cavaliers (19-15) showcased a spectacular performance, trouncing the Washington Wizards (6-27) with a resounding 140-101 victory in the opening game of a two-game set.

Max Strus led the charge with a 24-point contribution. Donovan Mitchell added 22 points in just 24 minutes of play, aiding Cleveland in breaking a two-game losing streak.

Caris LeVert contributed 21 points in 23 minutes, while Jarrett Allen demonstrated his all-around skills with 17 points, 19 rebounds, and seven assists.

For Washington, four players scored in double-digits with Kyle Kuzma having 16 points, Daniel Gafford, Corey Kispert and Mike Muscala – all adding 12.

The Cavaliers have navigated recent challenges, playing without key players Darius Garland (broken jaw) and Evan Mobley (left knee surgery) until February. Despite this setback, the team’s deep bench and consistent shooting sealed the dominant victory.
