Former Utah Jazz guard Carlos Arroyo says that Andrei “AK47” Kirilenko once made legendary coach Jerry Sloan speechless just by saying his number.

(via Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles):

“After a game, Coach [Sloan] was on him about some turnovers he did during the game, some flashy plays and stuff. And he said back to Coach, he said, ‘47.’ And Coach is like, ‘What? What, son?’ He said, ‘47.’ Coach said, ‘What the hell does that mean?’ He said, ‘I played 47 minutes for you, and 1 for the fans. So, I’m going to do all I want to do. That minute, I’m going to go flashy.’”
