Pelicans sign Julian Reese

The New Orleans Pelicans are adding Julian Reese to their roster on a two-way contract, giving the young forward an opportunity to continue his NBA development.

Reese’s agents, Yann Balikouzou and Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management, confirmed the agreement to HoopsHype.

The 6-foot-9 forward spent time with the Washington Wizards last season and produced solid numbers during his limited NBA action.

Across 13 appearances, Reese averaged 11.8 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 52.9% from the field.

Reese also contributed defensively, recording 1.4 steals per game during that stretch.

His rebounding was particularly notable, as he averaged a double-double despite appearing in only a small number of games.
