In a commanding performance, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey led the Philadelphia 76ers (15-7) to a resounding 146-101 victory over the struggling Washington Wizards (3-19) on Monday night.

Embiid, who had previously tweaked his left knee, showcased his dominance with a stellar game, accumulating 34 points and 10 rebounds.

The Sixers wasted no time asserting their dominance, as Maxey ignited a game-opening 14-0 run with three 3-pointers, setting the tone for the entire match.

The Wizards found themselves trailing by a staggering 29 points at halftime, and the outcome was essentially decided within the first two minutes of the game.

Maxey continued to shine throughout the game, finishing with 24 points, including five 3-pointers.

For Washington, Kyle Kuzma was the only player to reach a 20-point mark with 21 points. Jordan Poole once again struggled with 11 points on 3-for-11 shooting.
