Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid will not be available for Game 5 of the series vs. the Washington Wizards. Embiid was diagnosed with a small lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.
He’s listed as day-to-day moving forward. The Sixers could close out the series Wednesday after taking a 3-1 lead in the first four games of the series.
Embiid exited with what the team labeled a right knee soreness late in the first quarter of Monday’s 122-114 Game 4 loss to the Wizards.
