NBA veteran Dwight Howard is contemplating the possibility of extending his career in Europe. Reports from BasketNews suggest that the 37-year-old center is actively exploring opportunities in the European market as a potential path to rejoin the NBA.

ProBasket Consulting and Brightside Sports – the entities managing Howard’s affairs in Europe – are actively promoting him to various European teams, including those in the EuroLeague and EuroCup.

In addition to considering a return to the NBA, Howard is also eyeing Europe and the NBL league in Australia as potential destinations. In negotiations, Howard is seeking to include an NBA exit clause in any potential agreement, emphasizing his desire to make a comeback to the league where he has dedicated 18 years of his career.

Howard recently played for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s professional basketball league during the last season. In his 20 games with the team, he showcased impressive statistics, averaging 23.2 points with a 57.7% 2-point shooting accuracy, along with 16.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 blocked shots.
