Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, back in action after more than one year, is comfortable within the system of new head coach Steve Clifford.

In a stellar performance, Bridges notched 33 points and 10 rebounds in his fourth game this season, contributing significantly to Charlotte’s victory over the Wizards.

Bridges shared insights into his positive experience of playing under Clifford during postgame press conference.

“It’s a big confidence booster,” he said, per Jerry Donatien of ClutchPoints. “He believes me, that’s one big thing. He believes in his players, he wants the best out of you. He really just wants you to play defense, and he’s gonna have the utmost trust in you. That’s why I’ve been locking down on the defensive end. I like playing for Cliff.”
