Durant was recently asked if he anticipates a moment of self-reflection when facing the Warriors faithful again for the first time in over two years during the Suns’ upcoming season opener.

As the much-anticipated game approaches, Durant shared his anticipation, acknowledging the potential rush of memories that might resurface when he gazes at the familiar faces of the devoted Warriors fans.

Expressing his respect for the cherished experiences and impactful moments he had while donning the Warriors’ colors, Durant’s sentiments reflect the deep connection he fostered with the team and its dedicated fan base during his time in Golden State.

“Most definitely,” the Suns superstar said. “I can’t tell you right now how it’ll be obviously, but when you look up and you see all of the people that I played in front of for that long and you realize the memories I had in those colors, the stuff might ruching back in that moment. Who knows. We’ll see what happens.

“I always reflect on my time here, always try to pull from each time that I had and each stop that I played in and try to implement it in some form or fashion into the new situation. It’s been a great experience playing for the Warriors. It was a great experience playing for the Warriors.”
