Following his retirement announcement, four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala, 39, disclosed his future trajectory during an exclusive interview on ESPN’s First Take.
In a strategic shift away from the basketball court, Iguodala is set to launch his own venture firm, Mosaic General Partnership, which will manage a $200 million early-stage tech fund targeting diverse sectors such as health tech, sports media rights, and software development within the expansive tech ecosystem.
When questioned about the possibility of transitioning to a coaching role, Iguodala expressed a willingness to keep that option open while emphasizing the unprecedented opportunities his new venture would provide.
“It will be there and don’t want to close that door, but this is an opportunity that I feel like I can’t pass up in terms of having access that’s never been had,” he said.
