Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle was happy with the summer that small forward Jordan Nwora had.

Reporter: “Jordan Nwora, what do you like about what he’s done in this camp? He said he’s trimmed down a little bit. How does his new weight kind of influence how he plays?”

Carlisle: “He’s had a great summer. He’s trimmed down. He’s gotten stronger. In the exit meeting, we talked to him about some goals; he met all those goals. When he goes into a game, you know what you’re going to get: You’re going to get a guy that can score the ball in a variety of different ways, he rebounds well, he’s a good crasher offensively, and defensively he’s really worked at getting better at being able to get down and stay in front of guys. So a lot of that was the work that he put in in the summer on his body.”
