Maccabi brings Carlos Arroyo to the PG

Maccabi Tel-Aviv made a huge step in front of the top level in Europe by signing Pureto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (29, 1.88). Arroyo played his last 7 seasons in the NBA and scowring 7 points with 3.5 assists per game. His best season was in 2003-2004 while he played in Utah Jazz with 13 points and 5 assists per game.

Most of all, Arroyo allways will be remembered as the one who beat big Team USA in Athens Olympic Games in 2004.

Arroyo will earn 2.5M dollars and signed for 1 season with another 2 as an option.
