Philadelphia 76ers veteran guard Patrick Beverley believes that Minnesota Timberwolves 22-year-old star Anthony Edwards is addicted to competing much like legends Michael Jordan & Kobe Bryant were.

“We played Madden, and everybody likes to think they’re a good Madden player. He’s like, ‘Hey man, I’ll bet you $100-200 dollars I’ll 21-0 you.’ Not beat me, 21-0 me. I’m like, ‘Man, bet. You ain’t gonna go 21-0, what’s wrong with you?’ 21. Next game, 21. I score one touchdown, he’s like, ‘Alright, bet back.’ 21. The boy is addicted to competition, and I like that. You don’t see that from a young guy, because if it’s that, then they’re missing something else. Never smoke. Never drink. Loves competition. Loves to jump. Not a lot of guys that was doing that at that age and that serious except Mike [Jordan] and Kobe [Bryant].”
