Minnesota Timberwolves’ rising star Anthony Edwards boldly proclaimed himself and teammate Karl-Anthony Towns as the premier duo in the NBA.

Edwards described their partnership as a versatile “one-two punch,” emphasizing their ability to excel in various aspects of the game.

According to Edwards, the synergy between him and Towns extends beyond scoring, with both players capable of posting up, shooting from long range, and contributing defensively. He highlighted Towns’ leadership and willingness to share the ball as key factors that elevate their team’s performance.

“He can go to the post, I can go to the post. He can shoot the three, I can shoot the three. I can defend, he can defend. With your best player, which is KAT, sharing the ball, getting off offensively, moving it around, I think it flows throughout the whole team. Everybody got to do it,” Edwards said.
