Former NBA point guard Beno Udrih will fill Wisconsin Herd’s head coaching position for next season, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Herd is the G League team of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Udrih was a scout for the Atlanta Hawks last season. In previous years, he was also a player development coach for the New Orleans Pelicans and an assistant coach for Westchester Knicks.

Udrih managed to play in the NBA for 13 seasons with eight different teams. The highlight of his career was being able to win two championships with the San Antonio Spurs.

He announced his retirement from professional basketball back in 2021.
