The Lakers revealed that they have added an extra game to their 2023-24 preseason schedule, set to take place on Wednesday, October 11. The Lakers will be hosting the Kings at the Honda Center in Anaheim, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.

This additional matchup against the Kings comes after the Lakers previously unveiled their preseason schedule, featuring five games in total. The Purple and Gold will begin their preseason campaign on October 7 against the Warriors at the Chase Center. They will then travel to Las Vegas to face off against the Nets on October 9.

Returning to their home court, the Lakers will have a rematch against the Warriors on October 13, followed by a clash with the Bucks on October 15. The preseason will conclude with a game against the Suns at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs on October 19.
