The New Orleans Pelicans plan to waive small forward Garrett Temple before his $5.4 million salary for 2023/24 becomes guaranteed, reports Michael Scotto of HoopsHype (Twitter link).
Temple had been with New Orleans since 2021. He holds career averages of 6.2 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 1.7 APG on .402/.345/.740 shooting across 716 regular season appearances (288 starts, 20.9 MPG).
