Toronto Raptors rookie Gradey Dick recently told reporters that veteran Garrett Temple always gives him helpful advice/tips about the NBA life.

Reporter: “With the minutes up recently playing starters minutes, have you found that you’ve had to do anything differently in terms of routine, managing your body differently between games?”

Dick: “Definitely recovery-wise. I try to maintain a kind of consistent recovery either way if I play a lot or I don’t. But yeah, obviously a little more recovery now that the minutes are more. I think the great thing with our team is our vets. Garrett does an amazing job. Of all the seasons he’s played, he finds out what works for him and kind of gives me a little advice and tips of what I can do. Ice bath, cold bath, kind of both and build off that. But yeah, just kind of buying into that is definitely huge and a lot of what people don’t see.”
