Nikola Jokic has solidified himself as one of the best if not the best players in the NBA by winning his first championship along with Finals MVP, adding to his two MVPs from the previous two years.

Most fans and analysts alike put the Serbian superstar among the top players in the league, but former NBA player and coach Sam Mitchell thinks that he is not only the best, but has a significant advantage over others.

“He had the answers to every test that Erik Spoelstra and this Miami coaching staff gave him, and he aced it. He is the best player in the NBA by fa,” Mitchell said on NBA TV.

Jokic averaged 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 39.5 minutes per game in the playoffs.
