LeBron James started speculations about his future by saying that he is contemplating retirement during the season-ending press conference.

Although hardly anyone believes that the four-time NBA champion is actually going to retire and think that it was a tactic to push the Lakers to make roster changes, James’ agent Rich Paul kept the door for speculations open.

“I have an expectation just as you do,” Paul said, via Chris Fedor of cleveland.com. “We’ll see.”

This past season 38-year-old James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 35.5 minutes per game.
